[edit] Me?
I guess this is where I write about me. I'm not sure, will someone let me know?
[edit] User Talk
This is the link at the top where you hit "mytalk" :-) It is kind of a place for people to leave you messages and such in the wiki. You can then reply to them either here, or wherever you want, since this page works just like one of the talk pages for an article. :-) If you click the red link that is your name, that is where you put stuff about you (if you want). :) Emry 08:03, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
[edit] The Game System
Looks like we are both getting more active on this. I can see that there will be places where we do not 100% agree at first, but I think that will mostly be resolved by discussing what we both think and deciding things from there. :-)
I think that this system will start to flesh itself out now. I am hoping Zachron will get more active. We may need his help with the combat system. :P Emry 09:35, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Quintessence
My thought on quintessence and its use in game mechanics and game fiction terms is probably a little less impressive than yours. I see it as mostly the capacity portion of the metaphysical side of things. The spiritual/magical equivalent of Constitution or Fortitude. I do agree though that perhaps it should work somehow into hit points. I am just not sure if we want starting characters to have massive amounts of HP, of if it should start lower and then work up from there. :P It is possible that there could even eventually be some way to raise HP independent of attributes.
I think though that listing it as the gift of the gods may be pushing it a bit. :-) I was thinking more that the “Spark” would either be something more in fictional terms with some connection to what would be life points in the computer version, or perhaps it’s own attribute all together, connected to but independent from the rest.
I do not see Quintessence as being any more important in the overall picture of things than Constitution or Fortitude. Yes, it would be of more importance to spell casters, but so would a high Power score, just like a high Strength and Constitution score would be more important to a fighter.
I do agree though that Fort, Con, and Quint, should all play a role in the determination of hit points though, since hit points is a kind of amalgam concept. :P Emry 00:48, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
- I see said the purple platypus. I get it now. Chool Beans
- Really? :P I know, I have not been very forward the last few days, just quick notes here and there on how I would get you a longer message "soon" kind of notes. :P I finally got it out. ^^ Emry 00:53, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

- Its all good, I understand most people have more of a life than I do.
[edit] Hit Points
I aways fealt that hit points should be important to all characters, even spell casters. Especially if you get a spell caster that has to fuel his magicks with his own blood/hit points. :P Emry 01:34, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
- We could use that, say after they run out of stamina, they can choose to run off their HP.
[edit] Eep!
Looks like I moved a section you were working on, but at least I moved it after you hit save. :P
I moved the section on Attributes and Skills to the skills page. ^^;; Most of what was pertinent there related directly to skills, and I figured it was info worth saving. I was just trying to get organized. Some time when I am working on stuff from home we can communicate via IRC or IM or something while working on it. :) Emry 02:33, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
that would make things a lot easier
O.o Sorry if I seem like a grouch. :P I am not upset, I am just bad at wording things. hehehhehee. Emry 04:33, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Something that may help
One thing that may help keep our visions more in line (at least in the public eye) is if we has things out more thuroughly in the discussion/talk pages before transfering it to the main article pages. That way we have a kagillion edits in the talk page, but only a few hundred in the main page. :P Emry 03:08, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
[edit] RPOL and Tweak
RPOL is a website that I found:
It is basicaly a site for playing Play by Post games. :-)
TweakRPG is a project to codify some of the modifications that I have made/am making to the D20 system. :P
