Team name: NexusCrossing
Project name: libGamePieces
Brief description: A Project to create a game creation library that may be used to create RPG or Strategy type games, regardless of genre. The project is in the early stages, and the code so far has been created by one author.
Target aim: LibGamePieces is intended to be a cross platform game development library released under the terms of the Revised BSD License.
Compensation: At current time, all that I can offer is credit where credit is due. This project is geared towards the creation of open source software, and if you contribute your name will be in the source code.
Technology: Programming:
* C++ * Boost Library
Talent needed:
People from all talent pools are needed. At the current stage, we need people who are familiar with C++. Of particular need are people with an understanding or at least interest in network programming, as well as someone who understands GUI design to create an interface that we can use to test and develop the backend of the project.
Team structure: The team structure is yet to be determined. I am especially interested in people who are willing to work with a group, and who are willing to give and take criticism (good and bad as needed).

Previous Work by Team: 'none'
Additional Info: I know that there are many such libraries in existence, but the vast majority are released under either a completely commercial license or the GPL. While the GPL does hold much popularity, it is very restrictive in many ways. I would like the final result of this project to be usable by commercial and open source projects alike with few restrictions.
Feedback: Any and all feedback is accepted and appreciated. Even if I don't like what you have to say, I will learn from it.
