The Cleric is the Earthly representative of their Deity. Some of them may be church leaders, and others may be holy warriors, but they are all expected to be the epitome of their Deity’s laws.

Clerics wield vast and diverse power, but it is entirely at the whim of their patron deity. If they run afoul their god (or goddess) they will quickly find themselves without power.

[edit] Turn Undead

Any cleric, regardless of alignment, has the power to affect undead creatures by channeling the power of his faith through his holy (or unholy) symbol (see Turn or Rebuke Undead).
A good cleric (or a neutral cleric who worships a good deity) can turn or destroy undead creatures. An evil cleric (or a neutral cleric who worships an evil deity) instead rebukes or commands such creatures. A neutral cleric of a neutral deity must choose whether his turning ability functions as that of a good cleric or an evil cleric. Once this choice is made, it cannot be reversed.
A cleric may attempt to turn undead a number of times per day equal to 3 + his Charisma modifier. A cleric with 5 or more ranks in Knowledge (religion) gets a +2 bonus on turning checks against undead.

[edit] Divine Caster Rank

A cleric is a Divine Spell Caster as described in the rules on Magic. Their Divine Caster Rank is equal to their level as a Cleric.
Every day the Cleric must spend time carrying out the rituals and prayers required by his Deity. Different religions may carry out these rights at different times of the day, but failure to do so at the appointed time will result in loss of spell casting capabilities until the appropriate observances have been carried out.
In order to cast a spell, the Clerics's wisdom score must match or excede the 10 plus the level of the spell.
The DC for spells cast by the cleric equals 10 + The level of the Spell + The cleric's wisdom Modifier (DC:10+Spell Level+WIS)

[edit] Energy Bonus

Normally characters gain a number of Energy Points each level equal to 1d2+CON. Even if the character has a low Constitution score, they will always gain at least 1 energy point per level.
Clerics gain a rank in the Energy Bonus attribute at every even level. Each time they gain this attribute, they add an additional +20 to their maximum EP.
