Bes*ti*ary noun, plural -aries A collection of moralized fables, especially from the middle ages, about mythical or real creatures.
There it is. We start out by defining what a bestiary is. Now to explain what it is useful for. Every adventure has challenges of some sort. Over the course of a campaign, many of those challenges will come in the form of various creatures.
In the Creature Guide (Tweak RPG Bestiary) we will detail various creatures as well as go into details about how to create your own, and customize those that we present here.

See NexusCrossing OGL For legal information. I will eventually create a separate OGL license page for this project as well, as it will be needed if the “book” is ever to truly become a bound volume of any sort. For the moment, the work is included as part of the NexusCrossing Wiki OGL.
This system will also incorporate aspects from a number of sources, including Paizo Game’s Pathfinder RPG. Pathfinder is an OGL system based off of the D20 3.5 system. While their goals are not identical to mine, they have some very good ideas. For a copy of the Pathfinder RPG Beta check http://paizo.com . This is the play testing version, and is a big file, but worth the download. This is also your chance to give input on their commercial product.
