[edit] Planet Sizes

  • Rough Estimate of the Radius of the Eearth is 6,401km. [1][2]
  • That is 12802km in diameter.
  • Mars is aproximately half that size at a diameter of about 6,792km (A radius of 3396km).
  • Pluto is only 2296 km in diameter ( 1148 km in radius). [3]
Just so you know, Pluto isn't a planet anymore.
Not sure if that really matters for our case. Besides, the argument is still in full swing. And apparently the pro-pluto guys have baseball bats! :P
