Born in a small harbor town called Retherforn, he was called Lucas. The massive ocean off the shores of Retherforn flowed into a great sea which divided It from the neighboring harbor town of Tartan. The two cities were both lacking in nessisitiys but over the years they had become allies and their impressive trade had made both towns wonderful places and as they grew, the two great harbor towns attracted the attention of a large and powerful military nation many miles inland.

The long cooperation between the town was halted when an enormous army lead by the king himself marched into Tartan leaving the people in such awe that very few fought against him. After Tartan was taken the trade between the two cities had ended. The king used his new Harbor and gain much lacking power along the coasts in little time. The kings ego grew with his power and he thought "If one great harbor can make my kingdom this great... what would two bring..?".

Retherforn had been on great alert but was over time becoming weaker, with Retherforn's obvious superiority on the sea the king marched his army around the sea a journey that took nearly a week, While the king stayed in Tartan. Lucas, before the war was simply a popular merchant, had become second in command for the ragtag forces of Retherforn. With the General ready to fight to till destruction as to avoid the shame of being simply taken, Lucas looked for a better plan.

Using a small ship and a crew of elite men he sailed to Tartan and hide out with merchants he could trust, with five days till the armies attacked. With his history and connections he was able to breach the kings nearly defenseless stronghold and threatened him with death to draw his men out, he was sure he'd won, but the king laughed he was nearly an old man, he spit in Lucas' face shouting that death did not scare him, that he would build a great kingdom for his son to rule. In a rage Lucas kill the man and fell to his knees unable to think of a way out with only two days left Lucas was rushing to return to his home, "Maybe the kings death will stop them ..." he hoped as he ran for the ship, he was preparing to leave but was stopped. A great storm had formed between the cities and the captain refused to sail through it, it was hopeless.

His men rested ready to set sail the next morning only to find the storm was worse, the army was approaching and his men would not leave with him. He set sail alone into the rain and the wind the ship was nearly ripped in half three times, but then the ship gave out the frame began to come apart not even half way there Lucas was trapped, he could do nothing but swim. With his faith in his years by the sea he swam not stop for nearly a days time reaching the beaches he was met buy his captain he gave the news of the king and his body took its last breath as he died beside his home and the sea.
