The second largest city in the know world, the city of Prastis is a town of merchants. Always booming and bustling, this is the city that doesn't rest. The city is the center of worldly trade. Being the center of trade, any merchant that is worth his gold will have a shop here. More so, those who can afford to reside in this city tend not to care about the price of anything and always have gold to spare.

The city is run by a legislature with any amount of chairs. The first step to become part of the legislature is to "buy" a chair, which is to pay a stipend to each of the current members of the legislature. The other requirements are kept between those already part, and given one at a time to those trying to become part, of the legislature. No one knows what happens if you cannot fulfill the requirements nor what happens if you try to step down; no one has lived to leave the legislature nor fail to gain access to the legislature that has attempted. This legislature is looked down upon by many other city rulers due to the fact that many of the members are criminals of sorts, such as pirates and exploiters.

The city itself is very wealthy due to many wealthy individuals inhabiting it. The problem is that they comprise less than one percent of the city's population. The majority are merchants that can only afford to stay in the city for a month at the longest. The laws are very practical and simple, yet very harsh. Many of which remove you permanently from the city, either by forcing you out, or killing you.

  Prastis: Greatest bard know worldly, born on the island not named after island.
  Marius Reed: Grand Pirate Lord, commands the Salvius Pirate Fleet (1200 ships).
  Fala Golred: Stricken heiress of Reckba Kingdom, crime lord.
  Drak Dram: Dwarf, holds position to give his kin say in the city, regretfully.
  Dobo: Very lucky little kobold... VERY LUCKY.
  Dobo, Jr: It runs in the family.
  

People of importance:

   Malisis: Grand Illusionist, holds massive amounts of power. Thus the new barricade 
   around the Prastis harbor.
   Thrad'lum: A Druid of power. Holds nature to be higher than anything else.
