[edit] Introduction and Statement of Purpose
Eventually this section will be a game FAQ/Walkthrough. At first it will likely be a list of creatures and how to find or create them. This list may take a while to build as it will be created as I work my way through the game. Once I complete the game, I will likely start over just for the purpose of building this list.

I picked up a copy of Dragon Quest Joker a few months ago and have been looking for FAQs and walkthroughs on the subject. With the exception of a few decents sites here and there and the sparce selection on the GameFAQs[1] website, I have found nothing.
In the area of breeding this is particularly discouraging as all of the guides, even the one commercial guide available, give a little bit of information and portray it as all of the information available. The only problem there (And this is a biggy) is that they all give accurate but DIFFERENT information. Not good.
I even found one site declaring themselves the definative source for information, and I don't think they were even talking about the English version of the game. Even though they claimed it was the US Release they mentioned a three character name restriction and listed Kana as an option.
Beyond that all I have found is a thousand adds for th egame. Honestly, the game is fun and very playable. More people should give it a try. I will state up front that this is a work in progress. If I ever get to a point where I think it is complete, I will say so. HOWEVER, I will not assume that I have all of the information.
