This category is devoted to a game world named Acrose. At the moment, this is a working name, but it may also end up being the final name if nothing better comes along.

Acrose is a campaign setting that I have been working on for a while. I am putting this online here so that people may use the setting if they wish, and so that they can provide feedback.

The article pages that I create within this category will all be protected so that only Sysops can edit them, however people can still contribute to the project through the talk page, or through creating article pages of their own. In this way, the project is fully open for people to contribute, while still allowing me to maintaing editorial control over what becomes "cannon" or an official part of the setting.

This also means that I have more ability to insure that anyone who contributes work to the project is properly cited. Proper citation is especially important if I am ever able to make this into a real, physical, dead trees style book! :-)

Given that a wiki is a living breathing thing, and I have stated that I plan to maintain control over what is "Official" it is important that I direct to a starting point. The front page for this project will be The World of Acrose. All official materials will branch off from this page. This way, anyone who chooses to create a page for the setting can still use the Category:Acrose to label their page as such.
