ArNall is a city of merchants and scholars supported by a healthy farming population. The Magistrate of ArNall is a kind and strong willed man.
Like most Magistrates, he is of the house Algdon. Prior to the rise of the Empire, he was mayor of ArNall, so the people do not see him as an interloper.
He rules with a gentle hand when able, and manages to keep the Red Guard in check. Perhaps more importantly, he roots out corruption among the guard whenever he can.
He is especially protective of the farming community, and sees that they are taken care of. As such, even during drought years, the city tends to have plenty.
The city hall, where the Magistrate and other municipal offices are located, is not in the center of the city, but rather in a district to the east near the sea.
The center of the city is home to a beautiful park, and in the center of the park is a tall tower whose outer walls are made of marble of different colors. It is a sight to behold. The tower is several hundred meters at its base, and is home to the largest university outside of MalTier.
